SKFH Participates in Net Zero X 2030/2050 Initiative

2021.6.23

In response to the global trend of net zero carbon emissions, SKFH worked with the Taiwan Institute for Sustainable Energy Studies (TAISE) and 12 domestic companies to establish the Taiwan Alliance of Net Zero Emission on World Environment Day (June 5) and promote the "Net Zero X 2030/2050 Initiative," which aims to achieve net zero carbon emissions from all business locations of SKFH and its subsidiaries to demonstrate its determination to respond to the climate change crisis.

In addition, SKFH and its subsidiaries have all implemented the latest version of ISO 14064-1 GHG inventory to reduce GHG emissions by 3.8% in 2020 compared to the base year (2019), in an effort to achieve SKFH's carbon reduction goals. SKFH stated that in the future, it will continue to exert its influence and lead all sectors to drive the trend of net-zero emissions in Taiwan with its actions. It also aims to fulfill its corporate social responsibility through advocacy and education for all, assist the government and various organizations to complete net-zero emissions in Taiwan, echo the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and realize the corporate spirit of "Our light and heart are always with you".
